Matts Rant I was scanning through the channels last night before finally settling on watching BBC1's Panorama for the first time ever. The subject tonight was the infamous British 'health and Safety', commonly refered to as the 'Fun police', anyway, I was appauled to see what the new 'hazard' was. The subject that has caused the health and safety nuts to freak recently is grave stones!! Many councils around the country are unhappy at the safety of them after one fell down and crushed a 4 year old girl who was climbing all over it. Since then then, health and safety has deemed gravestones the new threat to humanity and have started employing 'Topple Testers' (seriously their name), to go around and test whether a gravestone will topple should it have a certain amount of weight applied to it. Once a certain grave has been deemed unsafe, it is tethered to the ground by tying it to a wooden stake - is this some kinda sick joke or what? (A certain count anyone?) Some councils have since...

Meet the people behing NSR Original

Edd: The producer & resident chart DJ. He's been with NSR since its humble beginnings many years ago as its creator, and recently departed the summer of 2010. He loves current music (and is an avid Radio1 listener) but also is passionate about music from across the board covering most areas apart from thrash metal. Edds main musical love is with mainstream and dance/club music. Edd is often seen arguing with Matt over many important issues, such as the merits of dance music and quite how annoying lady gaga is. When he's not presenting on NSR Original hes still in the studio as the producer on several other shows, (the name behind such shows as The JJ's, Bonnie and Tango & NSR Live ) and in fact was even the station manager. In his spare time he plays alot of badminton and, most importantly, loves being with mates.

Matt : Was the other resident chart DJ and website producer. He joined NSR and had made a quick impact, he was often seen debating with Edd over pressing matters such as whether club music is deemed acceptable and likewise, whether Edds weather of the week is deemed acceptable for radio. Matt likes a lot of music although does prefer the songs where the singers actually sing and put effort into their lyrics, the often excludes firstly male singers (they tend to be more Rappy) and secondly dance music (as it tends to lack lyrical content).

The Gnome (Graeme) : Top gear has the stig, Radio1 has the one that doesnt speak and NSR Original had the Gnome. The Gnome is a mysterious character, who rarley speaks and no one knows who he is, until matt gave the game away. Graeme can be easily identified by his bodywarmer, which we are not to sure can actually come off? And has an immune system that hates him. Graeme has become our games expert and tries to keep edd & matt in order, but just joins in with the laughs
